the most beautiful things in life are not things; they are people and places, memories and pictures. they are feelings and moments, smiles and laughter

Excellent Class Run 2017

YAYYY finally, the most anticipated event in Excellent Class is here;
Excellent Class Run 2017

The Excellent Class Run itself was made to strengthen the bond between the seniors (me and the whole 2015 squad) with the newcomers; the 2016 squad, as we will be together for the rest of the college life in the ninth floor (specifically, we have to share the study room together so there will be expected interactions between us later in the future). When I was still the participants last year, I was so excited to join the event because it seems to be a lot of fun strolling around Jakarta with separate groups and accomplishing the missions given. And this year, even as a committee, I was happy to know that I'm still thrilled to be a part of this event! Hahaha and yet it is still fun!

At first, we will gather in the campus and the participants will be given clues and their scoreboard by the comittee. They need to solve the riddles and to go to places around Jakarta such as National Musem (Musem Gajah), National Monument (Monas), and the last stop would be in Kota Tua. Aside of to strengthen the bond between us, this event was held for the participants as well as the comittee to get to know Jakarta better. It's both entertaining and educating at the same time and inspired from one of the most famous Korean variety shows; Running Man.

So, here are some of the photographic moments that I recall from the run while in Kota Tua:

there is this corner public library where people can sit and read the books for free in front of the Musem Fatahillah
inside the Museum Fatahillah after the parcitipants (my 2016 team) be given the task to buy the well-known traditional drink; es Selendang Mayang
there a space inside the Museum Fatahillah for us to watch the historical documentation
the beautiful, ancient, and odd Kota Tua
being super lepek and all with moi lovely Ash & Ani
one of the beautiful abstract paintings in an exhibition in National Museum
me being all happy with the 2016 kids <3
So, what makes this year's run is different from the previous ones is that before, we visited the National Gallery as well and to find paintings that match with the clues and descriptions given, but this time the committee decides to make a little difference by skipping the National Gallery due to the security issues and instead to the Kota Tua that is free and public space.

Welcome, the Niners squad! Hope you guys enjoy your stay while you were here
