the most beautiful things in life are not things; they are people and places, memories and pictures. they are feelings and moments, smiles and laughter

Holiday Part. 2

Still on our holiday day 2, we decided to go to some places such as Taman Hutan Raya (THR), Tebing Keraton, and by the end of the day we had dinner at Sierra Cafe & Lounge. Again, because the center of Bandung is filled with heavy traffic and my dad couldn't stand any more traffic HAHA (we want to getaway from all those horns and cars in Jakartabut well) so finallyyy he asked me to find relaxing places with good scenery + not too far away from the city.

Fortunately, THR and Tebing Keraton are located quite near to each other in Dago Atas, so we go for Tebing Keraton first because most people said that its best seen when morning (when the sun rises, but we didn't make it there and arrived at 9). However, even if the sun is started to rise, up in the hill I didn't quite feel the sun rays because the weather was so nice!

My suggestion, don't forget to use shoes (please don't use flat shoes because the pathway is rocky, it will ruin them), wear long shirts because dang you won't realize that the sun is burning your skin, and also bring some coffee and food! <3
not quite capture the beauty of Tebing Keraton
At noon, we go down to Taman Hutan Raya (THR / TAHURA). Sure we walked through the Pine Forest (anyway it's very good to have some photoshoot or even pre-wed because the ambience is supporting). We went to some long tunnels that once in the past used by our veterans as their hiding places and also to save themselves from bombing. It made me goosebumps!
too many couple it makes my head hurts
the view from inside
damn u guys do good
Tired after visiting those two places, my family and I went to this Armor Coffee in front of Taman Hutan Raya to have some lunch and drinks. I myself ordered for a sandwich and a milk tea, but  if you 're fond of coffee I'd sure do recommend you to visit this little-yet-cute coffeeshop because they offer a lot of variants. If I'm not mistaken they had Arabica, Luwak, and sooo much more! (ps: don't forget to drop some tip because the bartenders are so friendly).

Anyway, I did forget mention that all of the places I mentioned above are so Instagrammable (even the coffeeshop). Make sure to bring your camera with you while visiting these places! :)
ta-daa!
Before heading back to our hotel in Dago, we had dinner at Sierra Cafe n Lounge and dang, so much windyyy! I hate myself for not bringing my sweater or cardigan with me :(

Aside of that, the food is really really tasty and the price is still reasonable. I ordered for a cordon bleu and a drink which I forget whether it's a lemon tea or another drink. The only thing that turns me down was that we had to queue quite long because the restaurant is full. But when we finally got the table by the edge, that disappointment turned off because I got to see the night view of Bandung, all of those city lights make me happy.
my dad is taking the pic :P

Holiday Part.1

My family loves travelling and eating, A LOT.

During school holidays (whether on July-August or by the end of December), we usually go to cities outside Jakarta. We went away from the crowdness because FYI, the traffic in Jakarta on holiday is suck. It really is. Yuck!

This time we decide to go to Bandung (I actually fond of having holiday in Bandung, you know, it's got a full packagethe beautiful nature, the weather, the shopping and hangout places as well). We are staying for about three days in one of a 4-star hotel in Dago. Why? Because I fell in love with the ambience of its interior the first time I saw it.

Check out the photos below and wait for the Part. 2 post of my holiday! See you x

Afterall I'm giving two thumbs up for the service given by Hotel Sangkuriang, Dago. The room price is also reasonable, I was staying in a deluxe room with swimming pool view with an IDR 1.100.000 per night.

If you would like to try staying the night in the hotel, here's a little information I could provide for you:

Hotel Sangkuriang is a high-concept, contemporary hotel is an 11-minute walk from Bandung Zoo and 5 km from the fashionable shopping and nightlife along Braga Street.
Polished rooms with wood floors and traditional Oriental rugs come with complimentary Wi-Fi, minibars, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemakers; some also offer balconies. Upgraded units have access to 24-hour room service, while suites feature separate lounges with sofas.
Complimentary breakfast is served in the stylish restaurant or on the terrace overlooking the outdoor infinity pool and adjacent wading pool.Address: Jalan Sangkuriang No. 1, Jawa Barat 40135Phone:(022) 87832323
